His team from Western New England University published a study showing the positive affects of groups in the journal Foods.

Adding just under 2 cups a day of grapes to a typical, western, high-fat diet reduces fatty liver and adds 4-5 years to the lifespan o the average human.

In addition, the studies on grapes show increased levels of antioxidant genes and actual changes in genetic expression.

Grape consumption altered gene expression in the brain and showed positive effects on behavior and cognition. These results seem to counter the the impacts of a high-fat diet.
