Oftentimes exposure will lead to sales, trust to ease of sales, and more sales allow you to drive more exposure etc. You can also leverage your social presence to get a job which falls into the exposure/trust category. Regardless.

Do you want to invest in your personal social media presence or that of a business? Both? If you do not have a business and just want to be known for you, your social media can still be monetized.

All that being said, I’d recommend having some degree of idea as to why you want to build on social media and then start investing into areas you can delegate or suck at although, you can go far without investing much initially.

As soon as you see steam building up for your social media, consider taking things up a notch and paying a photographer, videographer, editor, etc.
