How Some People Gain More Followers Than Others

There are a lot of factors that can impact follower growth and popularity online, especially when compared to another person. I’m going to list off several, not in order of importance:

Consistency with previous content. How often does that person post content online? What is the quality of content?

Collaborations. Is the person collaborating with other people with larger accounts?

Genuine talent. Sometimes a person may simply have more talent.

Luck. There is a likelihood that the person posted at the right time, under the right circumstances, and the “stars aligned”

Appealing characteristics. Certain individuals may appeal more because of their looks, energy, demeanor, etc.

Previous success. This can be seen when a celebrity gets on social media for the first time. People flood to follow that person based on their previous successes.

If you can reverse engineer the best aspects of what is working for another person and apply them to your own content creation and personal brand, you can cut time frames and save yourself a massive headache!
