'Pepsi, Wheres My Jet?’ landed on the world’s most-watched platform in mid-November and has already caused a stir. Who doesn’t enjoy a chance to root for the little guy against an unscrupulous, faceless corporation in an epic case of David versus Goliath?

The story concerns an ambitious young man named John Leonard and hinges on probably the most expensive case of false advertising by any multinational corporation to date. In the early 1990s, Pepsi launched an inventive advertising campaign based on the idea of Pepsi Points.

Coca-Cola held tight to the market share at the time. To help their brand seem cooler and win the so-called 'Cola Wars,' Pepsi brought on board some of the most recognizable faces of the 90s: Cindy Crawford, Shaq, Michael Jackson. Coca-Cola in comparison had the polar bear.

Pepsi, for all their legal eagles, made a grave error. The Harrier was advertised as the reward for collecting 7 million Pepsi Points. They neglected to include any fine print. 20-year-old John Leonard wasn’t looking for some handout. He came equipped with a viable business plan.
