Reading nonfiction books without intending to apply them in your daily life is nothing more than mental masturbation. Although it's better than mindlessly scrolling social media, but if you don't use the lessons you've gained from those books, it doesn't improve your life.

Read books that are relevant to your current situation so that you can relate to the content and are more likely to immediately put the lessons you learn to use. Choose books that are relevant to your passion or hobby so you can gain new skills and apply it in your life.

2. Create An Action Plan:
Don't put off applying the lessons you've learned into practice until the end of the book. Your mind is simply directing you to delay taking action until the last possible moment because doing so makes you feel uncomfortable.
