In the first picture, show the best version of your day-to-day look. It should be casual and reflect what you (mostly) really look like. This isn't advice to take a picture in your pajamas at two in the afternoon. But don't lead with the pic from your sister's wedding.

The second and third pictures should be action shots. Show people what hobbies or even foods you like. Whether you study or work out. Or both.

If you want to include 'flex' or body shots, do it in a creative way. Do not include bathroom pics, mirror selfies, or pulling up your shirt to show your abs. A swimsuit picture also doesn't have to be an obvious ploy. Try creative cool angles and catch yourself mid-action.

The final shot should be the only group picture. You can show everyone you have some friends. But it comes last because the person is swiping on you, not your buds. Mid-sentence shots are great for conveying the energy of the situation.

Overall, be mindful of what is in the background of the shots. Don't use over the top filters, but you can use apps like FOCOS to lightly blur the background and make yourself stand out, or Lightroom to up the exposure.

Be real. Everyone has a pic from an event they spent 2 hrs primping for, but casual is better. Pictures should be from the last 3 years. If you don't have any, use your iphone timer and take some new ones. Or trade off taking them with a friend... their pics probably suck too.
