The Will To Power is the driving force of all human behavior and all of existence itself. It exists in all forms of life, all forms of human actions, and societal structures. The core purpose of this will to power is to reach its full potential, by discharging itself outwards.

It can be done either through arts (music, painting, theater, writing, poetry, architecture, etc.) or it can be done through a more direct pursuit of it (attainment of wealth, influence, or martial arts) or through the pursuit of knowledge (philosophy, science, learning etc.)

An athlete who becomes stronger is increasing his power, as is the writer who improves his writing, the orator who sharpens his public speaking skills, or a teacher who enhances her capacity to educate.

The Christian Morality of 'Pity' comes from weakness because man (the weak ones that is) is a subject to nature. And therefore risks nature's wrath if he wrongs her. That is If he disobeys his own instincts or gets overpowered by another's will to power.

Will To Power is Anti-Darwinian In Nature: For Nietzsche, life does not seek for mere survival and reproduction. But the accumulation of power, of “growth and expansion”, better understood as “increase in one’s capacity for power”

An excellent example on why Life does not seek for mere survival and replication is to look at Animals that are kept in captivity. In captivity they are given every luxury an animal could ever need to live a pleasurable and a comfortable life, free of any kind of harm.

But the comfort itself breaks the animal's spirit, For the animal craves danger, and It needs an outlet to discharge its will to power. The only animal that thrives in comfort is an animal whose spirit is broken. Chimp in state of nature never jerks off, but in captivity he does.
