Founded in 2016 by Kamesh Goyal, Digit Insurance aimed at making insurance simple for Indians by providing transparent insurance solutions.

The Bengaluru-based startup was registered in December 2016 and it wasn’t until late-2017 that the company sold its first policy. Since then, Digit has been on a growth journey.

Part of the reason behind Digit’s consistent growth is the experience of its co-founder. For 25 years, Kamesh has been an integral part of the insurance industry.

Serving as the CEO, and COO for Bajaj Allianz and working in senior positions in companies such as ICICI Lombard, and Royal Sundaram helped him build one of the most successful insurance companies in the country.
