Take a moment to look at the little things. We don't have to forgo our modern technologies to play with a crumples receipt in the same way Fluffy might, but taking a moment to look out the window, or appreciate a truly soft blanket, can make a difference in the long run.

A cat is always happy to curl up for a nap, whenever and wherever they see fit. People are overworked, stressed, chronically exhausted. Perhaps it would do us well to lay in a warm sunbeam and relax every so often.

Cats are not shy about letting us know when or where we can touch them, and for how long. When their boundaries are violated they react with teeth and claws, or they leave the area. Perhaps we don't need to bite, but we could all benefit from enforcing boundaries.

People who love cats say that they tend to choose their families, and they seem to be much happier when that's the case. We can't choose our families in the exact same way, but we can choose who we give our energy to.

Cats may seem aloof, but they are laser focused predators when they decide to hunt something. Whether you're deciding to hunt a feather or you're trying to make improvements in your life, some dedication is always helpful.
