High quality profile picture 📸
You should be able to see the whites in your eyes and be facing or near-facing the camera. Make sure it’s clear and not blurry. Use tools like Lightroom to adjust lighting.

Not all platforms have header images, but for those that do like Facebook and Twitter, make sure your header image is of YOU!
Avoid having a lot of text and factor in how your image will look on desktop AND mobile

Where there is a slot for an URL, use it! If you don’t have your own domain yet you can link another social media profile, your podcast, book, work, etc.

Your bio should include who you are and what you do. Start with something personable! For example, I’m “Addicted to coffee and standards”
Be able to o convey the most important aspects of you and your expertise.

The last thing people want to see when they’re looking at a profile is an empty profile. Even if you don’t use a platform frequently, create a few posts to portray that you’re a real person.
